The response from local residents has shown significant anger and upset that this could potentially get the go ahead.
As someone new to the area, I can already see the potential disruption and difficulties playing out.
This is an area of quite outstanding beauty, a place where people choose to come away to enjoy the peace and quiet.
Stather road is an impressive residential area with a relatively steep incline and narrowing top corner that in itself presents danger.
We do not need any more traffic coming down here, especially the large thunderous type.
The potential for noise is worrying as is the harm to health and overall disruption that this WILL create.
We do Not want this on our doorstep full stop and we need to stick together in making sure that our concerns and objections are heard.-
Thank you Emma. We couldn’t agree more, well said.

This will devastate a quiet residential area and the disruption caused by industrial vehicles down that road is a horrendous thought.

Absolutely Sally, the peace and tranquility of our beautiful village is at risk!

Elaine here, in addition I have a reference to the ‘amphi theatre’ effect in the response from me, Helen and Ralph.
On my 6th draft now, we keep adding to it.-
We will look out for your reference Elaine.

A personal and frightening experience a few years ago as I was driving up the hill. A bus turning from the high street down the hill as I was approaching the top took a wide turn and forced me to reverse a little way down the hill. Also forcing me over to the left scraping my car and damaging my wing mirror against the wall. Potentially it could have been much more serious!
The thought of large Lorry’s probably several times daily is very worrying.-
We have to agree, many lorries a day in our quaint little village is terrifying Claire – accidents will be just waiting to happen. Thank you for your post
